Service Description

For Kids & Teens (Ages 10-18) Flow & Grow is a supportive, playful, and inclusive class designed for kids and teens to explore self-expression through movement, voice, music, and creative play. This class blends gentle yoga, guided movement, rhythm, sound, and art-based activities to help students connect with their bodies, emotions, and creativity in ways that feel safe, empowering, and joyful. Each class may include: • Gentle movement and body awareness (with seated and standing options) • Vocal play, sound-making, and music exploration • Rhythm, sensory activities, and creative games • Art-based expression such as drawing, coloring, or imaginative prompts • Opportunities for connection, mirroring, and group interaction The focus is not performance, but self-expression, emotional regulation, confidence, and joy. Activities are adaptable and invitational, honoring each student’s unique abilities, communication styles, and sensory needs. This class is best suited for students who enjoy—or are open to exploring—movement, music, sound, and creative play in a small-group environment. Is This Class a Good Fit? To help create a safe and supportive experience for everyone, Flow & Grow is best suited for students who: • Can participate in a small-group setting with gentle structure • Are able to follow simple verbal or visual instructions (with support if needed) • Can remain in the space without frequent elopement or unsafe behaviors • Are generally able to regulate with breaks, grounding tools, or caregiver support This is a wellness and creative movement class, not a therapy or drop-off program. Support & Caregiver Participation This class has limited assistants. Some students may benefit from having a parent or caregiver attend and participate alongside them. Caregiver participation may be recommended if a student: • Requires 1:1 support for safety or emotional regulation • Has a history of elopement, aggression, or self-harm • Needs frequent redirection or hands-on assistance Our intention is never to exclude, but to ensure that each child—and the group as a whole—can feel safe, supported, and successful. Intake Process Before enrollment, families may be asked to complete a brief intake form or have a short conversation so we can better understand support needs, sensory considerations, and communication styles. Thank you for helping us create a nurturing, respectful, and joyful space for all participants
